BCS Announces 3 of 5 Makeup Days

As a result of Hurricane Irene, students attending Beaufort County Schools missed Monday, August 29 through Friday, September 2. The Beaufort County Board of Education has voted on makeup dates for 3 of the 5 days.

Missed School Day: Monday, August 29

Date to Make Up This Day: Wednesday, December 21 – This will be an Early Release Day for students. This makes Tuesday, December 20 a Full Day for students.

Missed School Day: Thursday, September 1

Date to Make Up This Day: Friday, October 28 – This will be a Full Day for students.

Missed School Day: Friday, September 2

Date to Make Up This Day: Wednesday, November 23 – This will be an Early Release Day for students.

The other make up days are:
January 2, 2012 will be a Regular Student Day
June 8, 2012 Last Day of School with Early Release for students.
